Kiwi rims, spokes, and nipples are made in the USA. Spokes are made from high-quality stainless steel for durability and high tensile strength and come pre-polished. Be aware of imported spokes as they will fail. Your safety is our primary concern.

Wheel to hub offset: Indian rims and hubs are offset and are NOT trued to the center of the hub. 46-53 offset is 2-5/16 measured from the outermost left side of the hub (seal side) to the center of the rim. 37-45 offset is 2-15/16 measured from the outermost left side of the hub (lock nut side) to the center of the rim.

Wheel sizes: 18” wheels were originally fitted to 1940 and earlier years and military models. 1941 was the 1st year 16” wheels were introduced; however they will fit other years. Make sure the wheel offset is exactly right; otherwise, your tire will rub against the side of the fender. 1941 and later forks and fenders are wider to accommodate 16” wheels.

Nipples: Nipple sizes for original 37-53 (16” & 18”) rims are .343. Harley uses .281 dia nipples. Be aware as some Indians over the years have been retrofitted. We can supply you with spokes that have .281” dia nipples upon special request.

Cad spokes: To make our stainless spokes look close to the original cad all you have to do is glass bead them.
