Our gears are made by the original manufacturer: To Indian. These are
made to the very exacting specifications in material, heat treat and
tooth profile as Indian. We sup-ply the highest quality gears made for
Indian m/cs. Our cost is higher than competitors but you are getting
far superior gears. Our material is very expensive, machin-ing becomes
a lot more time consuming and heat treat-ing is a lot more delicate.
This all translates into a supe-rior quality product.
Cluster gear: Our cluster gears do not require an internal bushing
spacer. We have modified the bore to have a shoulder in it for the
bushing to rest against. This aids in fail safe installations.
Always replace gears in sets. We make no warranty with our gears
running against others gears, used gears, in used cases, or needle
bearings.
Mainshaft bearings: The 39216 and 39923 bearings are the same and are
of a shielded design to keep metal parti-cles out and improve bearing
life. Originally open bear-ings were used on both sides. The 39923S
bearing is a sealed design which is recommended to use on the kick
start side to reduce the chances of an oil leak.
Note:Make sure you check the sprocket driver gear and main-shaft for
correct lengths to suit your year M/C. Lengths must be matched up to frame
