Policy
We are fully computerized. All orders must have part numbers in order to reduce the possibility of delay and error in the processing of your order.
We are not responsible for errors which occur when no part numbers are furnished. All orders are processed in a timely manner in the order that
they are received.
Prices: The prices at which orders are accepted are subject to the sellers price in effect at the time of shipment, however if there is a significant
change (and at our determination), we will notify you before your order is shipped. Parts prices do not include freight, postage or insurance.
COD Orders: Cash on delivery, orders are shipped within the US only. Please note that COD fees are approximately 5-$6.00. COD fees are
imposed by the carrier and is their collection fee. All COD’s are cash only. If order requires multiple packages, a COD fee will be applied to each
package.
Prepaid Orders: Please include approximately 15% of total order amount for shipping (this is an approx figure only). See credits or over pay-ments.
If these amounts are not included, your order will be shipped COD for the balance (domestic only).
Credit Cards: We accept Visa and Mastercard. Minimum order is $50.00. Orders under $50.00 are subject to a 5% service charge. Overseas
customers will experience 2 billings, 1 for the parts and another for shipping a few days later. You are not being double charged for parts. In the
event of any errors, please contact us directly rather than your bank. This way we can take care of any errors promptly.
Foreign Orders: All foreign orders including Canada can either send full payment plus 15% for surface mail, or 40% for airmail (this is an approx
figure only) in advance or use a credit card (this does not apply if using a credit card). All payments must be in US dollars (by money order or
certified check) drawn on a US bank otherwise bank service fees will be billed to you. All postal orders are shipped registered or certified for
tracking reasons. This will cost more but will benefit you if any problems arise. Problems do arise with the post and without this, your order is not
traceable. If you wish to waive this fee, we must have your authorization in writing. Post office orders are subject to a $5.00 handling charge.
Sorry, COD orders are only available for domestic shipments.
Fedex: Domestic orders: We have negotiated a favorable deal (and passing these savings onto you) with Fedex, especially for an economical
2 day delivery which costs a little more than standard ground services but gets your merchandise to you quicker and safer. This is not a guar-anteed
2 day delivery but serves as an economical means. Priority over night is available. International orders: Fedex service is also available
but as with all international shipments is higher in cost. This is our preferred method of shipment. General: Fedex does require a signature for
a drop off. If you are not available, Fedex will leave a note. On the reverse of this note you can sign to permit the drop off on a one time basis
or you may sign to permit future drop offs with just a 1 time signature.
General Shipping: If no specific shipping instructions are given at time of order, we will determine the best method of shipment. Most carriers
will not deliver to a post office box. Please provide us with a street address and phone number. Minimum shipping charge is $5.00.
False Invoices: We do not produce false invoices for customs purposes. While it may be a common practice at other companies, we do not
participate in this illegal activity.
Back Orders: Any items marked “Special Order” (back ordered) on your invoice will be placed on hold. We will notify you by post card when
that item becomes available. We will hold that item for you for a period of 14 days from the date on the card. We will require notification from you
within that period of time otherwise it will be assumed that you do not require that item. You are never charged for these items until time of ship-ment.
Please read the invoice thoroughly.
Sales tax: All California orders are subject to sales tax
Credits or Overpayments: In the event of any over payment, a credit will remain on file towards your next order.
Lost or Damaged Parts: Our shipping department will make every effort to package your order for protection against general handling in ship-ping.
If a package arrives with external damage, you must notify the carrier immediately. If any items are missing or damaged you must file a
claim with the carrier and keep the original package for inspection. Do not contact Kiwi Indian Parts. Please note: The US Postal Service will not
investigate any lost packages until 6-12 months after date of inquiry. For this reason we prefer to ship by other shippers. Please be aware of
this. Kiwi Indian Parts is not responsible once the package is delivered to the shipper. However we will make every effort to assist you in
your efforts in the event of a loss or claim. Title to goods passes to the customer when delivered to the shipper.
Returned goods, exchanges or shortages: If you experience a discrepancy with your order, we must be notified within 5 days of your deliv-ery.
Adjustments after this period will be at our determination. No items will be accepted for exchange without prior authorization or will be made
without your original invoice. No returns will be honored after 30 days domestically and 90 days internationally. All returns are subject to a 20%
restocking and handling fee. No returns on electrical parts or paint. No refunds - only exchanges or credits.
Warranty: Our parts are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship or material for a period of 90 days or 1000 mls, whichever comes 1st.
Warranty is limited to the replacement of that failed part only and only after our inspection. Warranty does not cover abuse by misuse or improp-er
installation.
General: Styles, colors and parts may change without notice
Note: Our products are generally not supplied with hardware unless specified. We do carry a full line of modern grade 5 fastenings which we
would be happy to supply individually upon your request.
Autolite & Corbin are registered trademarks and are used with permission on our products.
While we make every effort to duplicate the part as close to the original as possible, we take no interest within the judging community itself. It is
apparent that some judges are self serving and use it as an extension of their business to perceive their parts or their restoration as being cor-rect.
We build our parts for the discriminating and for those who want to ride. One can take years to research and build the best and most cor-rect
Indian to date only to have a so called expert judge shoot it down. Our advise is to build it your way, chrome what you like, paint it the color
you (or your wife) likes and enjoy the most from your Indian as it was meant to be.
